SPEED & AGILITY TRAINING

Our speed & agility program helps enhance speed power, running efficiency, footwork and body control.

An athlete’s performance on the field or court is directly correlated with their development of strength, speed & agility and overall conditioning. With this in mind, Victory PROformance’s sports training programs emphasize two primary factors: biomechanical & neuromuscular/metabolic training. What does that mean, you ask? VP implements sport-specific movements and speed & agility drills into our exercise regimens to help our athletes build the necessary muscle memory for game day.

This style of training will maximize our athletes fast-twitch muscle firing, allowing for the enhancement of acceleration, max velocity and metabolic capacity. For peak performance, we focus on drilling:

  • Dynamic equilibrium training
  • Mechanical speed & agility drills
  • Aerobic & cardiovascular training
  • Foot & speed work
  • Position specific & situational work

SIGN UP FOR YOUR BIOMECHANICS ASSESSMENT

Prior to joining the VP community, every athlete in our program will undergo a biomechanical evaluation to assess their individual level of ability. After the evaluation, the athlete and/or athlete’s parent will meet individually with the coach to review the results and select the appropriate program that tailors to the athlete’s needs.
